Matthew Lewis attended tonight’s Jameson Empire Awards and went on stage with other Potter cast and crew when the film won for Best Film. It also won for “Best Film Presented by Sky Movies” and David Yates won for Best Director. Photos of Matthew, Evanna Lynch, Bonnie Wright and David Yates may be seen in the gallery!
More photos will be added as they appear online! I will also post a video from the event if and when one appears online.
Digital Spy has posted a video montage where they talk to multiple stars and ask what movie they think will be the best out of ’The Avengers’, ‘Prometheus’ or ‘The Dark Knight Rises.’ Matthew may be seen at 35 seconds.

Although he will not be attending the Grand Opening of the Studio Tour, Matthew Lewis will be in attendance at this Sunday’s Empire awards! Daniel Radcliffe, Bonnie Wright and David Yates as well as Deathly Hallows: Part II have been nominated, so we may possibly see Matt accept an awards on behalf of the film.
Stay tuned for photos (and perhaps videos) of Matthew at the event!

Unfortunately, Matthew has just reveled that, he will be unable to attend the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter Grand Opening due to filming commitments:
Gutted about not being able to attend the @WB_StudioTour. I’m proper busy on #Wasteland at the minute. Sorry guys, have a good one x
Many other stars will be at the event though so if you were planning on going don’t cancel just yet!

My Leeds has released a new interview with Matthew Lewis where he discusses how Harry Potter changed his life, Leeds and more! The 4 page interview may be seen here! There are also two new photos included in the issue!
I will type up a transcript later today! If you would like to do the transcript for me, please send it to webmiss[at]magical-menagerie[dot]com!
Update: Thanks to Jen we have a transcript of the interview that you can read in the press archive! You can also view two new photos here in the gallery!
What was the best part of the Harry Potter experience?
Matt: The things I learnt and the people I was around. I picked up so much. I learnt much more than I would have at university. Dan Radcliffe is great too, he doesn’t get as much credit as he deserves from his peers. If you saw him on set, how hard he works… I’ve never seen anyone work as hard as that. He’s got a great energy to be around. We’re good friends. What do you put your success down to? Is it all hard work?
Matt: You’ve no idea how lazy I am! Any success is 100% because of the people I have around me. My friends and family, mum and dad, were amazing. And I couldn’t have hoped for a better cast and director. How do you deal with the success?
Matt: The success blags my head a little. With the last film, I was nervous because I’d always been in the background. And suddenly I had a much more prominent role. It was pretty nerve-wracking. Then it came out and the reviews were amazing. It was very overwhelming and I didn’t anticipate it.
