Although he will not be attending the Grand Opening of the Studio Tour, Matthew Lewis will be in attendance at this Sunday’s Empire awards! Daniel Radcliffe, Bonnie Wright and David Yates as well as Deathly Hallows: Part II have been nominated, so we may possibly see Matt accept an awards on behalf of the film.
Stay tuned for photos (and perhaps videos) of Matthew at the event!

Rachel of Children in Need has sent over some new photos from the Children in Need event Matthew attended on November 18th. Matt took part in photographs with fans and helped to raise 500 pounds doing so! Great job, Matt! The organizers of the event said that Matt was very professional, extremely patient and thoroughly enjoyable to work with. Very high compliments and we wouldn’t expect anything less of such an amazing person. Matthew will definitely have a very promising career ahead of him if he keeps this up, which we know he will.
You may see the photos in the gallery, the captions note who is in the photo with Matthew. Please do not take these photos without credit back to this site and Children in Need.

Photographer Craig Wilkinson has released two photos of Matthew Lewis from a Children in Need photoshoot he did on Friday as part of the Children in Need Annual Appeal. You can view the two photos in the gallery, one of the photos includes Matthew with the photographer. Unfortunately it seems that Matthew never appeared on television as part of BBC1′s live broadcast. But hopefully some more photos start to surface online. If you went to the event and managed to get some photos, feel free to send them in!

A new photo from Matthew’s appearance switching on the Ilkley Christmas Lights is now online by way of a news article. View the photo in the gallery! The article also includes a transcription of part of his speech, which can be watched in full in this post.
He paid tribute to Sir Jimmy who he described as ‘an absolute legend,’ encouraging the crowd to give ‘three cheers for Jimmy’ before switching on the lights. He said: “I must admit I was hesitant to take on the responsibility of switching on the lights, because of the very large boots he has left to fill. I met him a few times and was amazed by the vitality he had. His enthusiasm for philanthropy was so inspirational, he did so much for so many people and I just know he would have loved to have been here tonight to turn on the Christmas lights in Ilkley. But I am also sure he wouldn’t have wanted it to have turned into a sombre affair so before I turn on the lights, I thought we could do three cheers for Jimmy.”
