Empire magazine has released a new video where they asked the Potter cast to describe their experience in one word. Matthew had quite an interesting answer, to see it watch the video below. (his segment is at about 49 seconds)

Scans from the Empire Magazine [Harry Potter: The Ultimate Celebration] issue have begun appearing online. Several scans include either images or interview segments with Matthew. Agatha Christie’s Verdict Heading to Blackpool in June
The Grand Theatre, Blackpool have just emailed letting us know that Matthew’s play Verdict will be coming to their theatre from June 13th to the 18th. Tickets start at £17, but on opening night all seats are £20.
Bill Kenwright presents Agatha Christie’s brilliantly taut thriller Verdict starring Susan Penhaligon (Upstairs Downstairs, A Bouquet of Barbed Wire and Emmerdale’s Jean Hope), Robert Duncan (Drop the Dead Donkey), Peter Byrne (Dixon of Dock Green), Matthew Lewis (Harry Potter’s Neville Longbottom), Elizabeth Power (EastEnders) and 60s pop idol Mark Wynter at Blackpool’s Grand Theatre from Monday 13th June to Saturday 18th June.
Monday at 8pm, Tuesday to Saturday at 7.30pm, Wednesday & Saturday matinees at 2pm.

Vote For Neville as Your Favorite Potter Character
The folks at Bloomsbury have emailed this morning telling us that they want YOUR opinion in a new poll. They are asking fans around the world who their favorite character is, head over to this page to vote! Neville Longbottom is, of course, one of the characters you can vote for as your favorite along with many other loveable characters from the series. Read the full press release here.
“Over the course of seven bestselling books Harry Potter has met a huge cast of incredible characters. Bloomsbury has drawn up a list of 40 of those characters which can be found on the home page of www.bloomsbury.com/harrypotter where visitors can vote. If a character is missing, then there is also the opportunity to add your favourite. The poll opens on Monday 16th May 2011 and runs until Friday 26th August 2011. The winning character will be announced on Tuesday 30th August 2011. The poll will be supported by regular Facebook updates.”
However, right now there is a little error in the code that is causing some of the characters to be non-clickable. I’ve emailed Bloomsbury and hopefully they’ll fix it soon so you can vote properly!

“I’m not going to lie,” he says. “I’m not a theatre actor and it’s been really hard work and it’s still not there now. I think your entire career is a learning process, I don’t think you can ever be a complete actor so I’m still very much learning these theatre ropes but it’s come a long way I think. It’s been quite an experience.”

He explains: “I’m really fortunate this final film is the one that I’ve been most heavily involved with and I get to go out on quite a high. Neville gets really beaten and battered but he’s quite resilient and he refuses to back down and there’s some really really nice moments for him this year. I’m just looking forward to the tour and I’m quite excited for the future because Harry Potter has been my main focus for such a long time, so you’re a bit nervous about where you’re going in the future. But I’ve had this job on Verdict and it’s been fun, I’ve enjoyed it, and it’s given me a little bit more confidence that I can actually go out there and do more stuff.”
