Matt Talks Kissing Scenes
In a new article over at moviefone Matt Lewis is quoted talking about the kissing scenes in the Potter movies.
“There’s so much kissing going on in this book!” Watson says. And fans aren’t the only ones who get excited by the Hogwarts smooch fests. Radcliffe admits he was disappointed he missed the kiss between Ron and Lavender, “Just ’cause I thought it’d be pretty funny.” According to Matthew Lewis, who plays Neville Longbottom, kissing scenes are usually shot on closed sets, “so no one can go in and start laughing in the background,” but Ron and Lavender’s kiss was filmed in front of most of the cast. The reserved Grint describes the scene’s filming as “quite embarrassing,” but says, “I had a room full of people cheering.” Well, he must be doing something right.
New High Res Neville Photos!
Thanks to CU we have three awesome new photos of Neville in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince! They are all from Slughorn’s party, one is him serving and the other two are him eating.

LA Times Interview
LA Times has a new interview up with Matt Lewis where he talks about Harry Potter and more! I added it to the Press Archive as well 🙂
JP: There’s a story floating around about you putting on a cape and running around the room, etc. … is this true?
ML: [Laughs] I only did this once! When I was about 9, 10, I guess … I had my dressing gown on and, uh, I was just running around the house pretending to be Harry Potter for a bit.JP: What kind of things do you want to do/do you see yourself doing when “Deathly Hallows” is done? I know that’s a while away, though.
ML: Yeah, well, I’ve been acting since I was 5. I really don’t know what I would do without it, so I guess that’s what I want to do! Just to continue down this road as long as I can. But I know it’s a business where there’s no guarantees, so I’m prepared for that … I applied for University and I’d like to do film study and philosophy … so I’ll just carry on at this [acting] for five or six years, and if that doesn’t work out, I can always go back to University and get another job. But for now, [acting’s] my 100% focus.
