HBP DVD Details!

YAY Some news!  We have a release date for the Half-Blood Prince DVD.  Fans in the UK will get it on December 7th, and those of us in the US will get it the 8th.  Also, the Collectors Editions of Sorcerer’s Stone and Chamber of Secrets will be released on December 8th in the US.  They have tons of special features.  You can read up on all the details for all the releases here, here, here and here!

Also, Matthew is hosting one of the special features on the Half-Blood Prince DVD.  It is called Close up with the Cast of Harry Potter:

Close-Up with the Cast and Crew of Harry Potter: hosts Matthew Lewis (“Neville Longbottom”) and Alfred Enoch (“Dean Thomas”) lead us on an entertaining look at the cast of Harry Potter as they explore their interests away from acting and spend a day on set with the production team (28’30”)

Reminder: Win Tickets to RingCon

Just a reminder that HP-Xperts are having a contest to win a meet and greet with Tom Felton who will be attending the RingCon with Matthew Lewis this year (October 2-4).

Have you always wanted to meet a Harry Potter star? Then hold ready your Extendable Ears: We will draw lots for an exclusive meeting with Draco Malfoy actor Tom Felton in October at the Ring*Con in Bonn including a weekend ticket for this fantasy event of the year!

In addition, we will be drawing 10 additional times for two weekend tickets for Ring*Con, the biggest Fantasy-Convention of Europe.

If you want to take part, then reply in this thread with a question for Tom that you would like to ask at the exclusive meeting, your first name, the first letter of your last name and your residence. You do need to be registerd in the HP-Xperts forum to enter.

New 2007 Event!

Thanks to LadyLongbottom for finding a new article from October 2007 when Matt visited Staffs University!  The article also comes with 2 new photos, see those here in the gallery!

That Tom and Katy Thing has been produced by third year students studying the Advanced Studio Production module.

Matthew, who is about to begin filming the sixth film – Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince – in December, said he was delighted to work with the students.  He has appeared alongside the likes of Robbie Coltrane, Gary Oldman and Maggie Smith since starting out in the films as an 11-year-old.”I’ve sat next to Alan Rickman in the canteen and then watched him transform himself for the camera,” he said. “It’s fantastic to learn from actors who have such great ability.”

That Tom and Katy Thing is the second programme the students have made in the past two years and was streamed live on the internet.
