Throwback: Matthew Lewis Visits Football Museum of San Paulo in 2010

As many fans will remember, Matthew Lewis visited Brazil during his promotional tour for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I. Today I have uncovered new photos and an interview from when Matthew visited the Football Museum of San Paulo. You can read a rough translation in the press archive! The two brand new photos may be seen in the gallery!

How was the work routine and day to day when you worked in the studios Leavensdale in London. The atmosphere was boarding even as his colleagues described the site?
In a way. We ate, studied and did everything together. In ten years, we became a family like any other, with our inside jokes, our possible discussions. Despite all harassment and safety, I was very happy there. I do not feel I lost my childhood, only that it had a different kind.
The cast, you’re one of those who are considered true fans of JK Rowling’s books, including being an ambassador of the series in various events around the world. Do you consider yourself a member of the Harry Potter generation?
I tried to be an actor just because the series is already a fan of hers. I read the books when he was 8, 9 years old and for me it was very special to be part of something I have always admired the history and values that are in the book.

Matthew Lewis Shoots for Attitude Magazine

Thanks to the wonderful Multitude Media, we know that Matthew Lewis is doing a photoshoot for Attitude Magazine today.  The issue will hopefully be out in June.  Nothing else is known about the shoot but I assume there will be an accompanying article and/or interview.

A photo of Matthew on the set of the shoot may be seen in the gallery.

More news as it develops!

Role: Matthew Voices Character in ‘Night of the Loving Dead’

As I posted in passing last month, Matthew has lent his voice to the character of Nigel in Night of the Loving Dead. Today I have a few more details to share with you.  The film was made by the National Film and Television School, is 8 minutes and 53 second long and is a 2D Computer-Generated Silhouette Animation (similar to The Tale of the Three Brothers in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I.)  The synopsis of the short is as follows:

A zombie movie with more heart than brains.

Nigel is a lovesick teenager living under the tyranny of his wicked sex-obsessed stepmother, Barbara. But he gets more than he bargained for on Valentine’s Eve when he accidentally brings his old girlfriend, Felicity, back from the dead.

A high resolution promotional photo of Matthew’s character Nigel and his dead girlfirend, Felicity, may be seen in the gallery as well as a poster.

The film is also going to be part of the Annecy Film Festival in June, it is one of the “Official Selections” under the Graduate Film category; it’s page may be seen here. There is a large possibility that the short will be screened during the festival but the program has not been released as of yet.

I am trying to find out more information, such as a release date (if any) and will post as soon as I find out more. I am not sure the film will ever be released publicly as it was part of a school project, but perhaps if there is enough interest they will release it.
