SnitchSeeker attended the premiere of Tom Felton’s newest film, 13 Hrs, and had the chance to interview Gemma Atkinson and Isabella Calthorpe. Some of you will remember that Gemma is the female lead of Matthew’s new film, The Sweet Shop, well, she had some great things to say about Matt! Watch below, starting at 1:16:
More About Neville in Deathly Hallows
We have learned a little bit more about Neville’s role in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows via Magical-Menagerie. If you don’t want spoilers, don’t continue reading this post.
It quickly turns sour thanks to news that the Ministry has fallen. Remus tells Harry to run, and in the next moment Hermione has Disapparated them away. There is a small scene of the Hogwarts Express, and Death Eaters searching it for Harry Potter. Neville Longbottom fans will love seeing him stand up to the Death Eaters the way he did: “Hey losers, Harry Potter isn’t here.”
Freddie Stroma Mentions Matt at NYC Premiere!
While I was at the premiere yesterday helping HPANA with their interviews I got to talk to Freddie Stroma and he mentioned Matt! You can view the video below (starting at 53 seconds):
Me: Who do you think you connected most with on set?
Freddie: Ohh, I dunno, I couldn’t say. I think, I definitely got close to Matt Lewis and Alfie … [talks more]
Tom Felton Mentions Matt in Interview
In the third part of Tom Felton’s interview with FeltBeats he mentions Matt again.
FB: Well, it’s really nice that you’re actually engaging the{nl}audience, which makes following you so much more interesting! And now{nl}your friend and Harry Potter co-star, Matt Lewis, who plays Neville, is{nl}also on Twitter. Are you following him?
TF: Yeah, yeah, I am! “Mattdavelewis.”{nl}He’s actually the same as me with Twitter – he didn’t really fancy it{nl}at first, but then he got an iPhone and the rest is history. And it’s{nl}great because he and I keep in better touch because of it. Twitter is{nl}great because it helps you keep in touch with people you SHOULD be{nl}keeping in touch with.
FB: I didn’t know that much about him before, but after following him on Twitter… he’s got a really cute personality!
TF: Oh, he’s a character!
FB: Yeah, and this whole thing he’s got going on with Chris Cousins – this contest they have?
TF: Yeah, those two are a funny bunch. Have you ever heard of Ant and Dec?
FB: What? Ant and what? Ummm, I don’t think so.
TF: Basically, it’s like the English version of… I don’t know what{nl}the American version would be, like Jay Leno and Oprah together. It’s{nl}like the Ultimate British Super Duo. They present all the reality TV{nl}programs over in England. And, basically, I think Matt and Chris would{nl}be great for that. They’ll be the next big thing. I just think they’re{nl}very funny, naturally.
FB: Well, they’re getting a lot of followers; maybe they can get something started.
TF: Yeah, definitely. I’ll be looking out for some work, I tell ya. I’ll be looking out.
Thanks to Matt for the tip! (haha, sounds funny saying that but he mentioned it on Twitter)
Matt Mentioned in new Tom Felton Interview
Feltbeats recently asked Tom Felton some questions on behalf of SS and Matt was mentioned.
FB: And doesn’t Matt Lewis play? [guitar]
TF: And Matt Lewis, yeah! I didn’t realize he jammed on the strings! He sent me a message the other day. He said, “Loved the new song; I really want the chords.” And I didn’t realize he played the guitar. That’s cool, that’s cool. We’ve got another jammer on the list.
