Hello everyone! I updated the Press Archive today with some old, but new articles!
There is also a new photo that you can see here in the gallery of Matt reading Chamber of Secrets! I also added some photos from 2004 (at least I think they are 2004).
The August 2009 issue of Sci Fi magazine has a new six page article on Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. There are interviews with director David Yates, Daniel Radcliffe, Tom Felton, production designer Stuart Craig, and our favorite boy, Matthew Lewis. Head over to the gallery to see the scan!
Matthew Lewis (who plays Neville Longbottom) also appreciates Yates’s style. “All the directors were superb. But David was great at motivating everyone and made sure everyone on the set knew what they were doing. He’d come round and say, ‘This is my idea for the role, but you’ve played it for seven years — what do you think?’ And we’d just talk for absolutely ages, and there’d be other stuff going on but he’d focus on you individually and create something perfect for the scene. I really enjoyed that.”
Go to Magical-Menagerie to see all of the scans! Thanks Feltbeats!
New interviews with Dan, Rupert, Emma, Bonnie, Jessie, Tom, James and Oliver, Matt and Evanna from the Half-Blood Prince set in a poster book for the movie! See Matt’s page, HERE and you can see the rest HERE at Magical-Menagerie! Here are some segments:
How do you feel now when you watch the early Harry Potter movies? Can’t do it! Watch once and never again, its cringe-worthy.
Is there a particular acting challenge or story element that you are looking forward to dealing with in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows? Having my head set on fire (when Voldemort puts the Sorting Hat on Neville’s head). I doubt they’ll let me do it, but I’d love to try.
Thanks SS and Rose!
