Matthew Lewis Judging Rob Burrow’s Strictly Scrum Dancing in July

Matthew just revealed via Twitter that he will be a judge for Rob Burrow’s Strictly Scrum Dancing.  At the event the Leeds Rhinos players will dance  along with the Rhinos dancers to help raise money for Rob Burrow’s Testimonial. The event will be held on July 7th at The Queen’s Hotel in Leeds.

The event will start at 7pm and is £55 per ticket which includes a three course meal and fantastic entertainment!  To book your tickets you can either contact 0871 423 1315 (calls are charged at 10p per minute – calls from mobile may vary) or book online by clicking here.

There are also a limited number of VIP tables of 10 available next to the dance floor for only £750 .If you wish to book a VIP table you will need to e-mail sian.jones@leedsrugby.com.

Matthew Lewis Doodles for National Doodle Day

Once again Matthew Lewis has created a doodle to benefit charity.  This time he has participated in National Doodle Day. His doodle along with many others, will be auctioned on eBay starting on March 2nd to benefit Epilepsy Action.  His doodle may be seen below, and you may also view the doodles of other stars in their Doodle Gallery.

Of his doodle, Matthew says: “”You lost today, Kid. But that doesn’t mean you have to like it! – The birth of Indiana Jones (Indiana Jones and the last Crusade)” For those of you that don’t know, the Indiana Jones series is one of Matt’s favorites (and mine too)

Children in Need Photoshoot Images Released

Photographer Craig Wilkinson has released two photos of Matthew Lewis from a Children in Need photoshoot he did on Friday as part of the Children in Need Annual Appeal.  You can view the two photos in the gallery, one of the photos includes Matthew with the photographer. Unfortunately it seems that Matthew never appeared on television as part of BBC1’s live broadcast. But hopefully some more photos start to surface online.  If you went to the event and managed to get some photos, feel free to send them in!

EXCLUSIVE: Matthew Lewis Attending Children in Need Event in Pudsey

Today we have an exciting piece of news regarding an event Matthew Lewis will be attending tomorrow. He will be taking part in the Children in Need Annual Appeal in Pudsey. As a prominent figure from the region, Matt has been asked to participate in the various events throughout the day, such as meeting children, to help raise money for the charity.

Children in Need is an annual British charity appeal organised by the BBC. Since 1980 it has raised over £500 million. The highlight of the Children in Need appeal is an annual telethon, held in November. A teddy bear named “Pudsey Bear” fronts the campaign, while Terry Wogan is a long standing host. Children in Need is one of three high-profile British telethons, the others being Red Nose Day and Sport Relief, both supporting the Comic Relief charity. [source]
