Hey folks!! If you’re seeing this awesome new layout that means the site has successfully moved over to the new server! I’ve been meaning to move it over for months but just haven’t had the time (stupid real life). For the next couple of days the site may go down randomly, but after a few days it will work as usual, the DNS just has to resolve (aka…the website needs to figure out that it is at a new server and stop trying to use the old one). ANYWAY, now that we’ve moved there are 2 changes besides the new layout.
1: NO MORE ANNOYING ADS!! Since I host the site myself now & not through my old host fan-sites.org (which I still love, and you should use if you need a free host for a fan site) I don’t need to have them.
2. The problem with leaving fan-sites is that my new host doesn’t have the features I need to keep our Video Archive. I’m going to try to find an alternative, but for now the video archive is no more.
So what do you all think of the new layout? And do you know what I JUST noticed when I added this new layout to the About this Site page?…it has been EXACTLY one year since the last layout went up, how weird is that?! I guess it really was time for a change, ha ha.
