Yesterday a fan, Paloma, emailed to request that I make a Twibbon for Matthew Lewis fans so that he can see when his fans tweet him. I thought it was a very fun idea so I obliged. You can now head to this page to add the Lewis Lovers twibbon to your Twitter profile photo or Facebook profile!
This is what the Twibbon looks like, it will be laid on top of your twitter profile and is transparent so it won’t totally block your photo:

Today Matt has posted a photo of him in costume for his role as Lester Cole in Agatha Christie’s Verdict, which opened in Windsor on January 11th. View the photo below and larger in the gallery.
I don’t usually post photos that Matt puts on his Twitter since I categorize them as private photos, but I’m making an exception this time since this is the only picture of him in costume so far.

Matthew just updated his Twitter to let fans know that he is at a charity event called Concert for CARE right now, with Bonnie (Wright, I assume) and a friend Jodie. If photos from the event come online I will definitely be posting them, unless they are paparazzi shots.
At Concert for CARE, charity gig in London with Bonnie and Jodie. The rather wonderful Kaiser Chiefs and incredible Gary Barlow are playing.
Proceeds from the show will go to CARE international which is one of the largest international relief and humanitarian organizations in the world.
‘Concert for CARE’ is the brainchild of David Arnold, one of Britain’s most successful film and television composers and ambassador for CARE International (CARE). CARE works in 70 countries and helps 55 million people to find ways out of poverty each year.

Last night Chris Rankin updated his Twitter account with some very very exciting news. We also know via Twitter that Matthew Lewis, James and Oliver Phelps, and Warwick Davis are also on set this week! Chris said:
in the hotel, excited for filming in the morrow, but not excited for the 5am wake-up call… 43 principal cast on set tomorrow…!
Matt had also mentioned the following on his twitter on Tuesday:
Well that was an awfully short day at work. Rest of the week won’t be as easy if this morning’s rehearsal was anything to go by. Love it.
This is only an assumption but I, and many others, are guessing this means that the Battle of Hogwarts scene is being filmed! This means…NEVILLE’S BIG MOMENT!!!

This isn’t a Matt post, but since Matt news is slow and it’s for a good cause I decided to post 🙂 Matt’s friend Chris Cuzzy and a few of his friends will be doing an event for charity and they need sponsors! Donate as much or as little as you can, the proceeds are going to Sue Ryder Care.
On the 9th and 10th of October 2009, 4 lads (Chris Cousins, Steven Hey, David Maw and David Klepacz) will be taking on the challenge of climbing the 3 highest peak’s in the UK in 24 hours or less. We will start the challenge on the 9th October and over 24 hours we will have walked all the mountains as well as drive to them.
Here is what we are going to be doing:
5pm Start Ben Nevis.
10pm Finish Ben Nevis and start drive to Scafell Pike (seven hour drive).
5am Arrive and start climbing Scafell Pike
10am Finish Scafell Pike and start drive to Snowdon (three hour drive).
1pm Arrive and start climbing Snowdon
5pm Finish Snowdon, and complete challenge. We are raising money for Sue Ryder Care, which is a range of hospices that offer care to people with long term diseases and terminal illnesses, such as Cancer, Stroke, MS, Brain Injury, Dementia, Huntington’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease and Motor Neurones Disease.
We have all been affected by someone with one of these at least and Sue Ryder Care has helped several people we know. So it is a worthy cause.
So please donate as much or as little as you can. As they say, every penny counts.
