Matt Lewis Attending 2016 Celebration of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando

The lineup for Universal Orlando Resort’s 2016 Celebration of Harry Potter has been announced this morning. You will all be happy to know that Matt will once again be attending this weekend-long celebration of the Potter films! The event is being held from January 29-31, 2016. Matthew will be joined by Rupert Grint, Katie Leung, Bonnie Wright and Evanna Lynch for the third annual celebration. Visit Magical-Menagerie for full details on the event!

Access to “A Celebration of Harry Potter” is included with regular theme park admission or with an annual pass, with admission to certain activities being granted on a first-come, first-served basis. While most of the activities for “A Celebration of Harry Potter” will be open to all Universal Orlando park guests and will take place at both Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida theme parks, guests who purchase the exclusive event vacation package will enjoy certain special benefits and reserved sections for the panels and demonstrations.

Demonstrations and Q&A sessions will be available featuring Harry Potter film talent and crew, with special panels and demonstrations for kids. Admission into panels and demonstrations will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Specific times will be released at a later date.

Bluestone 42: The Complete Collection Available on DVD This November

Great news for Bluestone 42 fans who don’t own the series on DVD yet: Bluestone 42: The Complete Collection will be available on November 16th. The set is available on Amazon.co.uk for £34.99 and includes all three series of the show plus the Christmas special. You can also order Series 3 separately for £14.99 on Amazon.co.uk.

Unfortunately the set is Region 2, as it’s from the UK, so fans in the US and other countries may not be able to play the DVD if they have a region specific DVD/Blu-Ray player.

Matt Lewis Joins Cast of Happy Valley for Series 2

It has been announced this morning that Matthew Lewis among many other actors, including Harry Potter alum Shirley Henderson (Moaning Myrtle), has joined the cast of BBC’s Happy Valley for it’s much anticipated second series. Happy Valley has been nominated for and won over 30 awards, including winning Best Drama Series award at this year’s BAFTAs with writer Sally Wainwright also named Best Writer at the 2015 BAFTA Craft Awards.

His role has not been revealed yet, we will keep you updated on any news! There will be six 60 minute episodes airing some time in 2016. Filming starts in Yorkshire next week on the gripping, complex and unmissable drama (not suitable for younger viewers.) You can watch the first series on iTunes or purchase the DVD here. A short description of series two may be read below:

As series two opens, we join Catherine (Sarah Lancashire), the no-nonsense police sergeant who is back heading up her team of dedicated police officers in The Calder Valley in West Yorkshire. With Tommy Lee Royce (James Norton) firmly behind bars, Catherine suspects there may be another serial killer on the loose and makes a gruesome discovery that will have shocking repercussions for her and her family. Meanwhile, a new detective, DS John Wadsworth (Kevin Doyle) arrives on the block with his own set of problems, and despite being firmly under lock and key, Tommy forms a bond with a mysterious female admirer (Shirley Henderson).

Ripper Street Series 4 Coming to Amazon Prime in January

Amazon Instant Video UK’s Facebook page has revealed that Ripper Street Series 4 will be available in January 2016.  As we posted yesterday, Matthew has been cast as a policeman in the show’s 4th series.
