Matt Talks Evanna

Mallory from EvannaLynchFans.com attended the Dragon*Con and got to speak to Matt Lewis.  You can watch the video HERE.

Mallory: What was it like working with Evanna Lynch because she is as crazy as we are [“we” meaning HP fans!] and then she got the part of Luna?

Matt: She’s lovely, she’s really nice, and she’s such a big fan I mean it was incredible to see her face when she first came to the studio, and see the sets, and everybody else was like you’re one of us now Evanna its ok you can do whatever you want now, but she was so starstruck by the whole thing and her eyes just lit up and it hit me right here and I thought wow, and for her to be given that role it meant so much to her and infact it was great, and shes a fine actress and a really lovely gentle person.

Old Matt Interview

Thanks to Allison for sending in an old article that has some Matt quotes in it!  It is from before the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix book release.

I can’t wait to read about Neville getting braver. It{nl}will make a nice change from being a wimp all the time. People{nl}sometimes think that I am wimp like Neville but I’m nothing like him. I{nl}hope they will be making a film on this book because Neville gets to do{nl}really good stuff like Harry. It would be nice to actually fight{nl}baddies for a change. I have been reading the new book every{nl}night. It is really good, I like the way Harry gets attacked by{nl}Dementors early on and they all get to go to Sirius’s house. I am struggling to go to bed because I don’t want to put the book down.
