Celebrity Mastermind!

Matthew has confirmed via his Twitter that he will take part in Celebrity Mastermind.

  • I’m doing Celebrity Mastermind for charity. My subject has been confirmed: the life and music of Oasis. Fingers crossed!
  • I’ll let you know when it’s on and you can all let @liamgallagher know. I’m sure he’d love to watch it…

Here is some information on the show I found:

Four contestants (in later rounds of the competition the number is occasionally five) take it in turns to answer questions over two rounds against the clock. The first two-minute round comprises questions on each contestant’s chosen specialist subject and the second two-minute round tests general knowledge.

Matt Visits the Hogwarts Expres

A new article in the Yorkshire Posts mentions that Matt was in York recently to meet up with the train named “Olton Hall” who is in the Harry Potter films. You can see a photo here in the gallery! (I’m trying to find the larger version)

He said: “It’s great that so many Harry Potter fans have the chance to see and even ride behind the biggest star of the films. Seeing all the visitors flock around Olton Hall at the National Railway Museum today reminded me just how excited everyone gets around absolutely anything to do with the films.

“I’m sure the visitors must be even more exhilarated on Sundays when the engine is actually steamed up to take them for a ride.”

More On Charity Cricket

Today I have some more information on the charity cricket match held yesterday in London!  First there is a new photo that you can see here!  Next we know more people that attended;  Tom Felton, Matt Lewis, Dan Radcliffe, and Alfie Enoch played in the game.   Some of the girls went to watch; Bonnie Wright, Evanna Lynch, etc.

Tom was on Slytherin and Matt, Dan and Alfie were on Gryffindor.  As I posted before Gryffindor won, and they made over £10,000 for charity!

UPDATE:  Matt has answered my message and given a teeny bit more information!

“All I knew is that it was for the hospital where David Holmes is, he’s a stunt man on HP and he was in an accident that left him paralysed. We raised over £10,000 I think and Team Gryffindor won by 4 wickets. That was my team. I’ve no idea about whether it was open to the public or not but we’re hoping to make it an annual thing so hopefully next year I can let you know more details!”

Thanks Matt!
