Matthew Lewis Battles Tom Felton for the launch of Nintendo Switch Sports

To celebrate the launch of Nintendo Switch Sports, Matthew Lewis and Tom Felton faced off in a series of challenges. The duo juked it out in front of a crowd of onlookers, which saw the cinematic rivals go toe-to-toe, reminiscent of their past on screen fictional rivalry. (View more photos in the gallery.)

They competed in a ‘best of three’ in various games on Nintendo Switch Sports – the follow up game to Wii Sports. Players can use real-world movements to compete in six sports, including Football, Tennis, Bowling, Badminton, Volleyball and Chambara. Matt is sharing all the action on his Instagram stories throughout the day.

Matthew said, “It’s been such great fun to reunite with Tom today and settle some old scores. I love that we still have a friendly rivalry between us, and it was great to play that out with a game of the new Nintendo Switch Sports here at Westfield today.”

Nintendo Switch Sports is available exclusively for Nintendo Switch at all major retailers and on My Nintendo Store on 29th April 2022

Juliet Remembered, Short Film Starring Matthew Lewis, Now Available to Watch Online

Back in 2016 Matthew starred in the short film Juliet Remembered with Maggie Steed, Rakhee Thakrar, Joshua Higgot and James Smith. It was written and directed by Tamzin Merchant and produced by Jessica Benhamou.

The film won Best Short Film at the 2017 British Independent Film Festival, Best Screenplay at the 2017 Oxford International Film Festival and was an Official Selection at numerous film festivals.

JULIET REMEMBERED is about an actress with Alzheimer’s disease who has been transferred to a carehome after the death of her husband. Although she cannot remember day-to-day things, or even recognize her son when he visits, she can remember every word of her most famous role: Shakespeare’s Juliet.

What if you could only communicate through Shakespeare’s words? Is Juliet constricted by this or do his words transcend experience to strangely beautify her disease?

Official Trailer for Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts

HBO Max and Wizarding World have sent over the trailer for Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, airing on the streaming service January 1st. It was announced that fans in the UK would be able to tune in on Sky TV and its streaming service NOW.

Announced last month, the retrospective special invites fans on a magical first-person journey through one of the most beloved film franchises of all time. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson will reunite, together with other esteemed cast members and filmmakers across all eight Harry Potter films. In celebration of the anniversary of the franchise’s first film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, this unique television event includes brand new cast discussions, insights from the creative team behind the magic, and comments from creator J.K. Rowling.

A teaser for the HBO Max Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts special was released last night and our very own Matthew Lewis was featured in it receiving an invitation.

Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson join other esteemed cast members across all eight Harry Potter films as they travel back to Hogwarts for the first time to celebrate the anniversary of the franchise’s first film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, which premiered 20 years ago this year. The retrospective special Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts will tell an enchanting making-of story through all-new in-depth interviews and cast conversations, inviting fans on a magical first-person journey through one of the most beloved film franchises of all time. The highly-anticipated retrospective will be a capstone event of the holiday season, dropping as the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, on HBO Max.
