HBP DVD Details!

YAY Some news!  We have a release date for the Half-Blood Prince DVD.  Fans in the UK will get it on December 7th, and those of us in the US will get it the 8th.  Also, the Collectors Editions of Sorcerer’s Stone and Chamber of Secrets will be released on December 8th in the US.  They have tons of special features.  You can read up on all the details for all the releases here, here, here and here!

Also, Matthew is hosting one of the special features on the Half-Blood Prince DVD.  It is called Close up with the Cast of Harry Potter:

Close-Up with the Cast and Crew of Harry Potter: hosts Matthew Lewis (“Neville Longbottom”) and Alfred Enoch (“Dean Thomas”) lead us on an entertaining look at the cast of Harry Potter as they explore their interests away from acting and spend a day on set with the production team (28’30”)

Leeds Big Fun Run

The Leeds Big Fun Run was today and Matthew has updated his Twitter with a little bit of information about it.  I am searching for photos and other news about this so stay tuned!

  • Leeds Big Fun Run today. I’m sure I’ll be fine but wish me luck 😉
  • I was running with a lad called Jack who has Mobius Syndrome. What an inspiration. We completed in roughly 40 minutes.
  • Erm although I’ve run the race it’s still not too late to sponsor me. Just as soon as I figure out how!

Leeds Big Fun Run, Fanlisting, Real Radio

     Finally we should have some Matt news and photos this weekend, I hope!  If you remember a while ago I posted about Matthew participating in Leeds Big Fun Run, an event for charity, well it has finally arrived and will be taking place on Sunday!

    Also, our fanlisting only has 16 members! Come on guys, I know there are more Matt fans out there! We need to show our support!  So join and have all your friends who are Matt fans join too!  (something is wrong with it right now so I’m fixing it)

    Matt has also just updated his Twitter to say “ I’ve gotta perk up, I think I’m doing something for Real Radio later…”

Sponsor Cuzzy for Charity!

This isn’t a Matt post, but since Matt news is slow and it’s for a good cause I decided to post 🙂  Matt’s friend Chris Cuzzy and a few of his friends will be doing an event for charity and they need sponsors!  Donate as much or as little as you can, the proceeds are going to Sue Ryder Care.

On the 9th and 10th of October 2009, 4 lads (Chris Cousins, Steven Hey, David Maw and David Klepacz) will be taking on the challenge of climbing the 3 highest peak’s in the UK in 24 hours or less. We will start the challenge on the 9th October and over 24 hours we will have walked all the mountains as well as drive to them.

Here is what we are going to be doing:
5pm Start Ben Nevis.
10pm Finish Ben Nevis and start drive to Scafell Pike (seven hour drive).
5am Arrive and start climbing Scafell Pike
10am Finish Scafell Pike and start drive to Snowdon (three hour drive).
1pm Arrive and start climbing Snowdon
5pm Finish Snowdon, and complete challenge.

We are raising money for Sue Ryder Care, which is a range of hospices that offer care to people with long term diseases and terminal illnesses, such as Cancer, Stroke, MS, Brain Injury, Dementia, Huntington’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease and Motor Neurones Disease.

We have all been affected by someone with one of these at least and Sue Ryder Care has helped several people we know. So it is a worthy cause.

So please donate as much or as little as you can. As they say, every penny counts.
